So back in February, shortly after my last entry, I found out that my second cousin Bradley had committed suicide. I still remember getting the news. I was sitting at my table, about to start on a project. After that, I couldn’t even look at my craft supplies, much less feel creative. I guess I kind of lost my mojo in the sadness of the time.
After a while, I decided it was time to get back in the game and I sat down to do a Mojo restoring project. I wanted to do something that made me think of Bradley. Because my favorite memories of him are at the lake, playing on the seadoos, I wanted it to be blue, happy and fun. So while this isn’t masculine – it is blue, it is happy, and because I did it with Bradley in mind, it does make me think of him. And I think it’s fun.

Thanks for sharing this memory with me. We miss you Bradley. I’ll always think of you when I see seadoos on a lake. I’ll always remember your beautiful smile. And I’ll always wish that we could have chased the storms away from you. I know you’re in peace now.
