Lollipop, Lollipop, oh Lolly Lollypop!

I posted here about my first applique project.   I’m so excited that it’s done and at it’s new home.    I’m hoping that little Darcy will have lots of fun looking at all those circles and monkeys and lollipops!

A couple of more finishes. . . .

Last fall I finished the Mom’s Bouquet quilt for my Grandma.  I showed the quilt top but never the totally completed quilt.

Here’s the front.

And here’s the back.   I really love the quilting that Deb did.   The swirls are perfect on this quilt.

Another one that I finished was Mom’s Prayer Quilt.

I think it turned out really well.  This is one of the few that I’ve actually quilted myself.  There’s some puckers but I know that I’ll get better at that as I go along.

Catching up on lost projects. . . .

I just realized that I never shared some of my projects from last year.  One of them was a diappearing 9 patch that I’d been wanting to try.

I did all of this in one afternoon.   I was so amazed at how quick it came together.   The fabric is Maison de Garance.   I’m going to add a chocolate brown border.  Then,   I’ve got some more charm packs of this that I’m going to use to make a piano key outer border.    I think it will look cute once it all comes together.

Pete decided he needed to be in the picture with the quilt. I hope that doesn't mean he thinks it's his!
