Goals – Quilting and otherwise
Canning Goals
- Try pressure canning for Marinara sauce, Green Beans
- Make Jam/Jelly – I really liked last year’s Strawberry Vanilla jam, Blueberry pie Jam, Apple Jelly, Sweet Cherry Jam
- Try a Peach Jam this year.
- Either play with the Salsa recipe or try a different one.
- Plan for tomato canning – preorder tomatoes. Do Marinara sauce and salsa at a minimum.
- Can something with Pears this year.
- Repeat Apple Canning weekend – Apple Butter, Applesauce, Apple Honey Almond Conserve, and Apple Peel Jelly.
Quilting Goals
- Continue improving my quilting and try some
- Send quilts to long arm:
- Lilac Hill Quilt for Guest BR
- 12 days of Christmas
- Quilt and Bind these quilt tops
- Simply Silly (part of the 2012 UFO challenge) – DONE 2/8/12!!!
- Fun Flowers
- Black and White Postage Stamp Quilt
- Complete these tops
- Lilac Hill Throw – next step sew HST’s into blocks
- Denim Quilt – finish cutting blocks, order border and backing fabric
- Charlie’s T shirt quilt –DONE 1/4/12!!!
- Dress Shirt quilt – Blocks but, but needs to be redesigned.
- Happy Quilt (freckled whimsy QA) – review project and evaluate
- Paris BOM – finish month 1 blocks.
- Orca Bay Mystery Quilt – Ready to assemble blocks and top
- Work on Mom’s Butterfly quilt
- Easy Street Mystery Quilt – part of step 1 done
- Begin and complete these projects
- Baby Oyler quilt – Top completed, ready to quilt
- Doodle Bugs applique Baby Quilt – Blocks prepped, ready to applique
- Paw Paw Tshirt quilt for Connor
- Dad Oyler Tshirt quilt for DH
- Diamonds Quilt for MBR
- Make a Sewing Machine Cover
- Make a new Dr. Seuss Diaper bag with “Oh the places you’ll go”

Future Goal: Try a full on applique project – i.e. a block with multiple applique shapes working together. – Try Miss Mimi BOM, part of fabric purchased Dec 2011.
